Oblivious to the obvious rudeness the other man greeted him with, Auron still held an amazed smile. He was so tall! In his mind, he vowed that he would get as tall as him-or even bigger. Getting up from the ground, he brusehd himself off and seemed intrigued at the dangerous atmosphere that now surrounded both Mama and Ran-gan. His smile immediately was replaced by a frown the moment his mother seized his hand and led him away. "Aww, but I wan'ed ta stay..." The child murmured to himself, blowing the tuft of raspberry-colored hair from his eyes. "Huh? How come, Mommy?" Why did she tell him to stay away? Was that man a bad man? At the colorful word, Auron gasped, hands clapped over his mouth while he blushed furiously. "Mama! Wha's a bitch?" Was it something to eat? It sounded yummy. Then, liking the sound of the word, began to repeat it and wove it into a song while skipping along his parent. "Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitchbitchbitch!"
~+~
"Huh? Oh, hey Erza! You look good! Pregnancy's got nothin' on you, girl!" Rangiku waved from her position across the room but was instantly at the other woman's side, giving her a big, squishy crush-hug. At her lover's comment, she released the now-purple sword mage and glanced down at the kid. Wow. If she didn't know any better, she'd have said the kid wasn't Kenpachi's. He didn't look a thing like him. He more closely resembled his mother, except for his mahogany-colored hair. And his sharp cheekbones. "Oh! Isn't he the cutest little thing!?" She squealed like a girl when faced with an adorable kitten and had to restrain herself from hugging the toddler to death.

Auron giggled, face still red from the string of-unknown-curse words, at the pink-haired man's word. Hell. What the hell. "Wazz Hell? Mama, izzi a bitch hell?" He gazed up at his parent with wide eyes that turned to stare at the cat. "Uh? Ha'y? Kitty!" Wihtout another word, he was hugging the cat close to him and smiling into his fur. "Uh? Mama, who Gay?"

Erza remained seated and glared at the other woman, all her will-power into resisting the need to massacre her in paranoid frustration. She hated close contact. When would she understand that? Her hands clenched and unclenched, and she breathed steadily to calm down. The moment her child cursed again, she shot a murderous stare at her teammate. "Don't say that! It's bad!" She scolded.
Happy squealed and tried his hardest to breathe. He meowed desperately, then went limp in defeat. His companion watched him, unsure what to do. "Hey, kid. You better not be talkin' about me." Natsu turned around and glared at his rival, who was already in his stripping period with nothing but boxers to remain decent. He smiled at the child, then crouched and made an ice kitten in the palm of his hand. "Here. I'll give ya this if you let Happy breathe," He promised with a small laugh.

Rangiku gave a 'woe-is-me' sigh and lazily waved a hand through the air at the intense glare she was recieving. Really. Coudln't she do better? She was soooo used to getting those kinds of glares from her captian, but did she do anything? Noo. "Huhh...Well, I do have to get back to work. So I'll talk to you later, alright, Er?" She smiled, giggled cutely, and blew the other woman a kiss before dissapearing to who-knows-where.

"Huh? Mama? Is bitch bad, too?" Auron asked with wide eyes. Hell was bad? He didn't want to be bad-oh no. He was a good boy. He didn't want to say any bad things. "Uh? Kiddy?" He made a face at the un-moving kitty-cat. Was something wrong? "Does Kiddy need a bi' hug?" Hugs made Mommy feel better, so he squeezed the blue cat.

"Uh? Mama ,who that? Who that, Mama? Issit Gay? You Gay?" Plodding over to the newcommer, Auron giggled a bit at the funny things he was wearing. What were they called? "You look funny, Gay." His mahogany-covered head tilted to the left as he examined the kitty in the other man's hand as if considering. The child looked down at the cat in his arms. This one talked... But that one was prettier.... Auron frowned, which looked more of a pout. "'Kay." He released Happy, but continued to look like he had just gotten beaten.

Erza dismissed the other woman with an uncaring wave, then scowled at her child. "Yes. Don't repeat those words. Ever," She instructed with a firm edge. The last she wanted was to raise a child to be anything but dignified. With cold, harsh eyes, she stared into the distance and contemplated leaving Auron with Lucy. So she could... do something stupid.
Happy gagged the moment he was squeezed and clawed at the air in a desperate attempt to breathe. He breathed in deep and stared up at the ice mage with deep gratitude once he was released."No, I'm not gay," - Natsu burst into uncontrollabe laughter - "The name is Gray. Say it with me, kid," Gray corrected without much care. He glared fiercly at his rival and stood upright, stepped toward him and drew him closer by the scarf. "You think that's funny, dragon breath?"
Natsu caught his breath and snarled in a hostile manner. Both of them emitted tension into the atmosphere. "Get outa my face, brain-freeze!" He threatened, then bared his dragon-esque teeth. All that hate came to an end the second Erza made her prescence known. She shoved them apart, and the two natural enemies screamed and came together again in a terrified huddle. "Sorry! It won't happen again!" Gray said with a bright smile. Natsu copied it with a bit more enthusiasm, nodded his head vigorously, and said, "Aye!"

At his mother's scolding words, Auron sunk down into his clothes and stared at his feet. A few sniffles later, he spoke up. "S-sorry Mama..." He frowned and looked up the moment he was corrected-again. "Gay. You Gay. Gaaaaaaay!

NOT DPNE!

At his mother's scolding words, Auron sunk down into his clothes and stared at his feet. He was a bad boy... After a few long minutes, he dared look up with a slightly puzzled expression on his features at the dark-haired man. He tried to do what he said, but what was that odd 'rrr' he used? "Gay?" That didn't sound right. "Gay?" no, still not right. "Grrr...Gay." When he still couldn't get it right, Auron sighed heavily and stared down at his feet again, feeling terrible. He sniffled, about to cry and wrapped his arms around himself, feeling quite small.

"What am I supposed to do with you two?" Erza sighed irritably, which made them wince. When she turned away from them, they seperated and let out a breath of relief. Gray narrowed his eyes at the child and made a face, then crouched down with a small smile and ruffled his hair. "It's alright kid. How about you just call me bro?" He suggested. Natsu snorted and rolled his eyes, mumbling to himself. He let out a startled gasp as he was knocked aside, landing on his best friend, who began to meow in protest. "Hey! Watch-" His mouth snapped shut in astonishment once he noticed who it was. Or at least, he'd seen him before; the ninja man. He paused and reached out a leather-bound hand to help him up. When Natsu continued to stare, he became uncomfortable and continued on through the double doors. "Mystogen," Erza mumbled, her face contorted in some sort of distant admiration.

----

"Sleep," Mystogen whispered with his staff raised as he strode inside. In that instant, every person within the buildings lost consciousness. Everyone but Makarov, who was noticeably tired from his position atop the counter. "Hm, nice to see you," He mumbled as the illusionist came to stand before him. He rubbed his eyes, remembering not to stare at him directly. The man was more than capable of putting him in a coma, so he didn't dare chance it.
"You called for me?" Mystogen said with all seriousness. His master scratched his head and seemed uncertain. "Did I?" He beamed, then stood up and cleared his throat. "Yes. You remember what I said about those Excorcists running about?
Mystogen nodded.
"I need you to find them, before more innocent people are killed."
Again, Mystogen nodded. He whirled around - the motion causing Makarov to lose balance - and strode towards the door. He hesitated as he noticed the form of a cat-eared child on the floor. Wendy. She was there, when it happened. His stomache churned. What if she had died?
Mystogen started to reach out to her, to brush the loose black strands away from her delicate face, but he couldn't. He snapped his hand back, his face contorted in pain as though she had burned him.
"Something wrong?" Makarov wondered from across the room, his mouth twisted into a bitter smile. Mystogen remained silent for a moment. "I believe I should bring someone with me who's earned their trust," He answered without pause. He hoped his master couldn't tell that he wanted her from that simple mistake. There was no chance in hell that he would put her in danger again.
Makarov narrowed his eyes in thought and tapped his foot on the counter. "Hmmm, well I suppose I could send someone to you." He didn't need to ask where he would be. Mystogen would find them, when he felt the area was secluded enough. The illusionist tilted his head in agreement, then stepped cautiously over Wendy and struck the ground with his staff as he pushed open the door.

Glittering amethyst eyes glanced up mournfully at the dark-haired man once he came down to his level. He didn't deserve it if he couldn't even say his name. Auron attempted a smile as Gray attempted to make him feel better, and giggled as his hair was messed up. "'Kay, Bro." The child grinned widely, liking the name. Now that he could actually say. "Huh? Miso-wha?" The toddler turned around and stared up in awe at the black-clad man, his mouth hanging down and his eyes the size of dinner plates in excitement. "Ah! Cool!" The young boy blinked, suddenly feeling extremely tired, and instinctively battled sleep, but it was inevitable as he fell to the floor and curled up.
~+~
"Huh? Wha? Hey! Where'd he go?" Auron wondered aloud as he woke up and found the large room lacking the black-clad man, whom Mommy had called 'Mystogen'. "Mama, where'd he go?"

~+~
"Haah, that was a nice little nap," Rangiku yawned, delivately covering her mouth with the back of her hand. She rubbed her eyes and sat up off the floor. "Huh. But I don't ever remember being tired...Oh well! <3!" The large-breasted woman giggled and was instantly on her feet, giving a half-twirl before going back to waiting on tables.

"Hey, I'm tired," Natsu mumbled as he plopped down on the bench outside. He wasn't in range of the charm, but he could still feel the effect a bit. From the way Auron had dropped, so did he. His partner yawned and stared at the door curiously, while Gray and Erza did nothing more than twitch. The bastard... he always had better resistance. He watched as ninja-man strode out past them, almost wanting to follow and see who he was. But the moment he stood to do just that, he dissapeared. "Well that was weird..."
Natsu narrowed his eyes at the child's question, then folded his arms to back it up. "Yeah, Erza. Where did he,"  - She shot him a murderous stare - "... go?" He choked on that last word and coughed.

-----

Wendy rubbed her eyes as she sat up, frowning. What was that? She scanned the room and noticed the others in the same condition. Well, all but the master of course. He was watching her, with so much concentration that it made her blush. She stood and turned from him. "Wendy?!" She yelped and stumbled over someone as she turned back to face him. "Yes, master?" He motioned to her from across the room. Wendy strode towards him, nervously adjusting her cat ears the whole way. Was she in trouble? Had someone... maybe seen her with Toshiro? That thought alone made her blush more than ever. She came to stand before the small man and waited to hear it. "You met these Excorcists, yes?" Makarov inquired in a subtle tone. She nodded once. He clasped his hands behind his back and seemed almost conflicted. "Good. I want you to help Mystogen capture them, before I - I mean we, are in serious trouble."
Wendy made an uncertain face. Who in the world was Mystogen? And why would the master want her to do something so dangerous? She wasn't the best fighter, even with Natsu and Gajeel to back her up. One of them had to be a better choice. "You'll be safe with him, my dear," Makarov assured her with a cheerful bounce, as though he'd read her mind. "You're job is to make them cooperate, and to heal Mystogen should it turn into a confrontation." Still, she wasn't sure. But she smiled and accepted it without question. He instructed her to wait for him outside on the roof - why, she didn't know. She passed Rangiku on her way out and paused for a moment, then continued to where Charlie was seated. Wendy informed her of the mission, but the entire time the Eksheed watched the rafters, locked in a staring contest with Gajeel. Once it all registered, she glared at him and hopped onto the child's shoulder. "Hmph. You know Captain Hitsugaya wouldn't approve of you going after them again," She scolded without care.
Wendy came to an abrupt halt at the top of the third-floor staircase, her mouth open in astonishment. She hadn't thought about that at all. He had died to save her before... what if she needed it a second time? Charlie watched her with an impatient stare. "Well? Aren't you going to ignore my advice as you usually do?"
Wendy swerved around and walked down the stairs to the main entrance hall, shaking her head. Charlie was stunned beyond words, but she didn't care. She couldn't risk that happening again. No one should have to die for her. Not Toshiro or  Mystogen. She would just go and tell the master that she couldn't do it.

Auron stuck out his upper lip in what he thought was a contemplative pose. Who was that guy? "Mama, wazztha guy a nin? He looked funny! I wanna be a nin, too! Can I, Mama? Can I, can I, can I?" The excited child began a wild, excited dance with lots of hopping around. He paused after a few moments, his face contorted into a thoughtful expression. "Wait. Wazza nin? Hey, Unncatsu!" The mahogany-haired child quickly scrambled onto the bench with the pink-haired man and grabbed his shoulder, gently shaking him as if to wake him up. "Wazza nin?" After a few more pushes, he sat down cross-legged with wide eyes, anxious to hear the explanation. Uncle Natsu seemed to be more apt to answer his questions than his mother was, after all.
~+~
Toshiro groaned as he looked back at his soul pager for the umpteenth time. Voicemail. No rings, just straight to voicemail. He hated it. The white-haied captain shoved his chair back and folded his arms across his chest, eyebrows furrowing in heavy thought. Knowing his lieutenant, her phone was either off, or broken. Either she had merely forgotten to turn it on, which was seldom, or she had purposely known about the break. Both of which made him upset. And both of which meant that he would have to go down to Fiore and collect her himself. If only Rangiku would have more common sense... Rolling his eyes, he filled out the last part of his absense paperwork and put it into the right file before standing to his full height, which was something unfortunately everyone laughed about. Grapsing the teal-wrapped hilt of his zanpakuto, he unsheathed it with a metallic hiss. With a bit of spirit pressure, he inserted it into the fabric of space and turned it like one would a key. In a rush of light and wind, the twin pairs of tatami doors opened, revealing the blinding white Dangai Precipice world. A single, black butterfly emerged from within and seemed to dance around him. The captain resheathed his sword before stepping into the light.
~+~
At once, Hitsugaya had wished he had broght something cooler, as he was immediately slammed with the heat and humidity he had forgotten. Blast. Sheilding his eyes from the sun with one hand, he began searching for the landmarks he had so carefully remembered to direct him to Fairy Tail. If he knew Rangiku, she'd be around her apparent new beau, to which he assumed she would lurk around the wizard guild. Concentrating a bit of his zanpakuto ability into his palm, he sucked on the icicle to keep him cool while padding down the long, straight path to the guild, aura surrounding him off-putting an irritated atmosphere.

Natsu's eyes lit up at the child's words. "Hey, me too!" He announced, then wrapped his scarf around his head and made a hand seal with a mischevious smile. "Muahaha! I'm a ninja! Nin-nin!"
Happy copied him with a determined face, pretended to watch his partner's back as he ran around the courtyard hiding behind random objects. Erza smiled at that, but the usual solemn demeanor snapped into place a moment later. She watched as he returned and sat down on his bench, out of breath. He laughed when Auron shook him and wrapped an arm around him to draw him closer. "Heh. What's a nin? That's easy! It's um..." He went blank for a second and blinked, his mouth moving without words. "Huh. Good question."
Gray snickered, while Happy shook his head in dissapointment. "Aye, Natsu... it's someone who's good at hiding and sneak attacks!" He informed with an understanding smile. His companion formed an 'O' with his mouth and nodded, then leaned back with his hands behind his head and chuckled. "Hah! I knew that."
Gray rolled his eyes. Natsu narrowed his and leaned forward again with a fearsome demeanor. "You got somethin' to say, Snow-balls?" He threatened in his deep fighting voice, which caused his frenemy to lose his cool - no pun intended. Gray created ice make in the palms of his hands, chilling the air as he came closer. "You think you're funny, huh?" He sneered, creating an actual snow ball and lobbing it at Natsu's head. The Salamander was on his feet in seconds. Both of them tossed threats back and forth, once again unaware that their worst nightmare wasn't more than a few feet away. But she wasn't concentrating on them. Her attention was on the small white-haired child coming up the road.

((Refer to the video to understand what 'Nin-Nin' means xD))

ooc: Lmoa. Before Auron gets all like...molested-y and emo, him and 'Unncatsu' are gunna be BFF's. :D Theeeeen he's gunna go emo and crap, and eat tin with *snicker* Iron Man. Yayz.

XDDDD Natsu ninja Wannabe meets Naruto ninja. XDDD I can see the look on Kakashi's face right now. And it goes something like '...Wtf?'

bic:
Auron's amethyst eyes glittered with delite and amazement as his pinnk-haired uncle became a ninja. That was so cool! "Ninja! Ninja!" He couldn't help but cry, and burst out laughing at Uncle Natsu being funny and running around. If that's what a ninja was, then he totally wanted to be one! They looked so cool! But he'd have to get a scarf, and a kitty. Hmm...He thought long and hard about that. Where would he get a kitty like Happy? Oh! Bro gave one to him! He frantically dug into his pocket and pulled out the half-melted kitty and frowned. Oh well. It would have to do. Quickly pulling off his thin shirt, he wrapped it as best he could and still look like a ninja. "Look, Mama! I'm a nin- just like Unncatsu! Nin-nin!" Then, in a higher voice, attempted to make the melting kitty say the same. When he didn't get her attention, the child turned to see what she was looking at, and what could possibly be more important than him accomplishing his dream and becomming a ninja. There was a child. And he looked wierd. Mustering up his most fearsome fighting expression, Auron hopped off the bench and charged at the intruder with a fierce battle-cry...only to trip over his own two feet and fall on his face.
~+~
Hitsugaya watched with an unammused expression on his normally emotionless face the scene that was taking place. As the infant attempted to attack him-and dressed in the most riddiculous way, he made no movement to defend himself in any way, and coldly stepped around the sniffling child. He wasn't there to be pleasant, only to retrieve his lazy leuitenant. Though he felt jewwled eyes digging into him, he payed no attention the the flame-haired woman, but continued onwards, attempting to avoid the fighting. He didn't want to get involved again, especially with one who controlled fire in the manner like that pink-haired nuisence did. Just get in...get out.

Wendy swerved around within the crowded, chaotic room in search of the master. The moment she spotted him, she lit up and made her way towards him.
She was almost to her destination when she smacked into a solid form. "I-I'm sorry!" She stammered, rubbing her head where it had impacted. With anxious eyes, Wendy looked up into the stranger's face and let out an astonished gasp. "Toshiro!" She squeaked and wrapped her arms around him with a smile, then released him and stumbled back in a spaztic reaction.
Had Makarov not caught her attention from behind, she wouldn't have remembered the reason she returned in the first place. "Is there a problem? You shouldn't keep Mystogen waiting, you know," He said with a casual smile.
Wendy's eyes widened in horror. She stared hard at her crush for a moment, then her master, then the floor.
This was exactly the reason she couldn't do it. The fact that he was here made the situation worse.
She swallowed and met the small man's eyes, Toshiro's prescence making her more determined than usual. "I don't want to do it," She announced in a smooth, insistant tone.
Makarov raised a brow and seemed a bit taken-aback. For about a minute he was silent, which made her uncomfortable. "I'm sorry to hear that. I suppose I'll need to count on it turning into a brawl, in that case."
Guilt tore her apart on the inside. She hadn't thought about what would happen if one of her brother dragon slayers were sent in her place. She was the only one who could keep the enemies calm and heal Mystogen should he be confronted with them. How could she be so selfish? But... if she did go, it would be about as selfish.
"I..." Wendy knotted both hands through her hair in frustration. Oh, what was she supposed to do? She shut her eyes tight and tried not to shed the tears that threatened to escape.
Makarov's face lost it's color as the air became thick with nothing. Everyone around them fell silent and became weaker the more the child's distress increased. The fact that she was harming them in itself didn't quite help.

Hitsugaya stood quite still, relying soley upon his icy blue eyes to find Rangiku. Once or twice, he caught flashes of strawberry-blonde hair, and rushed towards them, but they were so elusive that he when her got near enough, they dissapeared. As for her spirit pressure...it was all over the place and indistinguisheable. It was apparant that she spent most of her time here. In the instant a hard force slammed into him, the air was forcebly removed from his lungs and the white-haired child struggled for breath. "What the-" he wheezed out, only to be tackled and squeezed in a crush-hug. "WHEN-dy!" The child pulled in a heavy breath as his crush stepped away, hand on his chest. Completely out of character, his lips twitched into a passing smile despite himself. He had missed her. Toshiro's attention was robbed by a...was that a midget? At last, he could feel better about himself. Mystogen...waiting? Waiting for what? Teal orbs quickly trained themselves to the Wind Dragon Slayer. Don't want to do what? His eyes were again on the midget. Brawl? Again on Wendy. The Captain's heart twisted and his stomach knotted. He hated to see her like this... As his breath came short, he couldn't help but blurt out, "Whatever the task, I'll do it." Wait. What was he saying? He didn't even know what the task was! But if he could do it for Wendy... "You have my word."

"W-What?" Wendy gasped in absolute horror, "No! Toshiro, you can't!"  That was ten times worse! Oh, she might as well tell him she didn't want to see him again, in that case. It would be much better than her other options. Too bad she was completely incapable of hurting him. She stared at him, eyes still wide in astonishment, and tried not to encourage her own frustration.
"Wendy, calm down this instant!" Charlie choked out, her entire form shaking with the attempt to remain poised on the child's shoulder. She wrapped her paws around her in a soothing manner, and Wendy calmed somewhat. It was enough to allow them all to breathe, at least.
Wendy hung her head and tried to loosen the knot in her stomach, but how could she? Of all things, she couldn't bear to place Toshiro or herself in that situation more than once. "I'm sorry... but I-"
"No need, child. I understand," Makarov cut in with an empathetic smile.
She blinked and raised her head to meet his eyes, the atmosphere almost normal in that one instant. He continued to smile, hands clasped behind his back. "I was told what happened last time. So I assume the  emotional trauma made you afraid to lose him," - he motioned to Toshiro - "a second time. Yes?"
Wendy's cheeks burned in response. She hid behind her hair and tried to form words with her mouth, but none came to her rescue. Right at this moment, she wished she'd been out the door, far from here when she was supposed to. But his assumption was dead-on, and that's what concerned her the most.
Makarov chuckled. "Hmm. Thought so. But remember what I said: with you, there won't be death on either side," He reasoned.
That sobered her up in one shot. She formed a hopeful little 'O' with her mouth as though she had just now understood her role. She turned her head a bit towards Toshiro in a silent question without meeting his eyes, her heart still pounding from the indirect confession.

Natsu spun around and opened his mouth to shoot another crude comment at his rival, but stopped as the child's stunt caught his attention. He beat Erza to him with seconds to spare, fell into a crouch and pushed back his hair.
"Sweet! You earned yourself a battle scar!" he announced with a broad smile, then scopped him up as he stood and sat him on his shoulders - from which Happy was forced to abandon at the last second.
"You see that, strip-tease? Real men don't need ice packs!" Natsu shot at his counterpart in a devious manner, then took off and ran around the guild laughing and cheering in a childish manner.

-.- I shall now post.

bic: Auron continued to sniffle, fighting back tears. His palms burned...his knees stung, and worse of all, he failed to defeat his opponant and brough shame to all of Fairy Tail. He was practically blubbering when Uncle Natsu came to his side. The two year old sniffed, and wiped his nose on his sleeve. "A baddle-'car?" He questioned, looking down at his red hands. A battle-scar... A smile began to creep onto his face. "Cool," he agreed. "Mama! I godda baddle-'car!" The little boy squealed with joy as he was put on Natsu's shoulders, and his tiny hands grabbed fistfuls of candy-colored hair. Auron couldn't help but giggle and laugh as he was piggy-backed all around the guild, burying his head in the tufts of pink to avoid exploding with happiness. "Faster, Unncatsu! Faster!"
